एक जंगल में एक कौआ और एक कबूतर रहते थे | कबूतर कौआ का आपस में नहीं बनती था | जब भी कबूतर कौआ को देखता कबूतर उसे बहुत चिढ़ाता | कौआ को बहुत दुःख होता था | जंगल के और भी जानवर भी कौआ का मजाक उड़ाता | रोज कबूतर अपने बच्चो के लिए खाना लाने के लिए जंगल में जाता |

एक दिन जंगल में जोर से आंधी आयी | कबूतर बहुत देर तक नहीं आया ईससे कबूतर के बच्चे भूख से तरप रहे थे | लेकिन कौआ को ये देखा नहीं गया कौआ ने कबूतर के बच्चो के लिए खाना लाया और बच्चो को खाना खिलाया | ये देख के जंगल के और जानवर ने कौआ को बहुत मना किया तुम कबूतर के बच्चो को मत खाना खिलाओ | वो तुम्हारा मजाक उड़ाता रहता हैं | कौआ ने किसी की बात नहीं सुनी |

कौआ ने कबूतर के बच्चो को खाना खिलाया | बच्चे बहुत खुश थे और खेल रहे थे | बहुत समय के बाद कबूतर आया उसने देखा कौआ के बच्चो के साथ उसके बच्चे खेल रहे थे पहले तो कबूतर को बहुत गुस्सा आया | जब बाद में उसे पता लगा की कौआ ने उसके बच्चो का कितना ख्याल रखा तो उसे बहुत अफोसस हुआ और कौआ के पास जा के उसने कौआ से माफ़ी मांगी | कबूतर ने कौआ से बोला मित्र मुझे माफ़ कर दो | हमसभी लोग आज से दोस्त हैं फिर वो आपस में मिलजुल कर रहने लगे |
