एक समय की बात हैं एक जंगल में एक गीदड़ रहता था | गीदड़ खाने के लिए इधर उधर भटकते रहता था | वो खेत में जा के अपना भूख मिटाने के लिए जाया करता था | लेकिन गांव के किसान इससे परेशान हो गए थे किसान अपने खेत की रक्षा करने के लिए खुद खेत में सो जाया करते थे | अब गीदड़ को खाने के लिए कुछ नहीं मिलता था वो बहुत परेशान हो गया था की अपना पेट कैसे भरे |

एक दिन गीदड़ जंगल में घूम रहा था की तभी उसकी नजर शेर की खाल पर गई | उसे खाल देख के एक तरकीब सूझी उसने खाल को अपने ऊपर पहन लिया और खेत की तरफ जाने लगा ये देख के किसान लोग डर गया उनको लगा की खेत में शेर आ गया हैं | अब गीदड़ को जब भी भूख लगती थी वो खेत की तरफ शेर की खाल पहन कर चला जाया करता था | और मजे से पेट भर खाना खाता था |

एक दिन की बात हैं गीदड़ खेत में खा रहा था की तभी दूसरे गीदड़ चिल्लाना शुरू किया ये सुनकर गीदड़ भी चिल्लाने लगा ये सुन के किसान को पता चल गया की ये शेर नहीं ये तो गीदड़ हैं फिर क्या था सभी किसान ने गीदड़ को घेर लिया और बहुत पिटाई किया | गीदड़ पिटाई खा के जंगल के तरफ भागने लगा | गीदड़ अपने आप पर बहुत पछतावा हो रहा था वो क्यो शेर की खाल पहन लिया |

The fascinating story of the foolish jackal

Once upon a time there lived a jackal in a forest. The jackal kept wandering here and there to eat. He used to go to the fields to satisfy his hunger. But the farmers of the village were troubled by this. To protect their fields, the farmers themselves used to sleep in the fields. Now the jackal did not get anything to eat and he was very worried about how to fill his stomach.

One day the jackal was roaming in the forest when his eyes fell on the skin of a lion. Seeing the skin, he thought of an idea, he wore the skin on himself and started going towards the field. Seeing this, the farmers got scared and thought that a lion had come into the field. Now whenever the jackal felt hungry, he used to go to the fields wearing the lion’s skin. And he used to eat to his heart’s content with pleasure.

One day, a jackal was eating in the field when the other jackals started shouting. Hearing this, the jackal also started shouting. Hearing this, the farmer came to know that this is not a lion, it is a jackal. Then what happened, all the farmers surrounded the jackal. And got beaten a lot. After getting beaten, the jackal started running towards the forest. The jackal was feeling very sorry for himself, why did he wear the lion’s skin?
