एक जंगल था जंगल में सभी जानवर मजे से रहते थे | उसी जंगल में एक खरगोश और कछुआ रहता था | खरगोश को अपने पैरो पर बहुत घमंड था क्योकि वो बहुत तेज दौरता था | लेकिन कछुआ बहुत धीरे – धीरे चलता था | खरगोश कछुआ का मजाक उड़ाता रहता था | एक दिन की बात हैं सभी जानवर बैठे हुए थे की तभी खरगोश ने बोलै की उससे तेज कोई नहीं दौर सकता हैं | सभी जानवर सोच रहे थे की ये बात तो सच हैं खरगोश से तेज कौन दौर सकता हैं |

वहां पर कछुआ भी बैठा हुआ था | खरगोश ने एलान किया की कोई भी जानवर उसके साथ दौरने का प्रतियोगिता कर सकता हैं | सभी जानवर चुप – चाप बैठे हुए थे तभी कछुआ ने बोला की वो उसके साथ दौर लगाएगा | ये सुन के खरगोश जोर – जोर से हसने लगा और कछुए की तरफ देख के बोला की तुम मेरे साथ दौरने का प्रतियोगिता करोगे | कछुआ ने बोला हाँ वो दौरने के लिए तैयार हैं |

सभी जानवर ने बोला जो उस दूसरे जंगल से दौर कर पहले आएगा वो जीत जायेगा | खरगोश मान गया और मन ही मन सोचने लगा की ये तो वो आसानी से कर लेगा और सबसे पहले आ जायेगा | खरगोश और कछुए का दौर शुरू हो गया कछुआ धीरे – धीरे चल रहा था लेकिन खरगोश जोर से दौरना शुरू कर दिया अभी कछुआ रास्ते में ही था खरगोश बहुत दूर चला गया | तभी खरगोश ने सोचा जब तक कछुआ आएगा तब तक वो पेड़ की निचे रुक करके थोड़ा आराम कर लिया जाए | खरगोश पेड़ के निचे आराम करने लगा की तभी उसको नींद आ गई और वो सो गया | लेकिन कछुआ धीरे – धीरे अपने मंजिल पर पहुँच गया और वापस भी आ गया | सभी जानवरो ने देखा की खरगोश तो दिखाई नहीं दे रहा हैं |

कछुआ प्रतियोगिता में जीत गया था और खरगोश हार गया था | जब खरगोश की आँख खुली तो तब तक बहुत देर हो गया था | खरगोश वापस आया तो देखा की कछुआ पहले ही पहुँच गया हैं | अब खरगोश को अपने गलती का एहसास हो गया था की आलस बहुत बड़ा शत्रु होता हैं | खरगोश ने सभी जानवरो से माफ़ी मांगने लगा |

Hindi interesting story laziness is a great enemy

There was a forest where all the animals lived happily. A rabbit and a tortoise lived in the same forest. The rabbit was very proud of his legs because he ran very fast. But the tortoise moved very slowly. The rabbit kept making fun of the tortoise. One day all the animals were sitting when the rabbit said that no one can run faster than him. All the animals were thinking that this is true. Who can run faster than a rabbit?

A tortoise was also sitting there. The rabbit announced that any animal could compete with him. All the animals were sitting quietly when the tortoise said that he would go round with him. Hearing this, the rabbit started laughing loudly and looked at the tortoise and said that you will compete with me in walking. The tortoise said yes, he is ready to visit.

All the animals said that whoever comes first from that other forest will win. The rabbit agreed and started thinking in his mind that he will do this easily and will come first. The round between the rabbit and the tortoise started. The tortoise was walking slowly but the rabbit started walking vigorously. The tortoise was still on the way and the rabbit had gone too far.

Then the rabbit thought that he should wait under the tree and take some rest till the tortoise comes. The rabbit started resting under the tree and then he fell asleep. But the tortoise slowly reached its destination and came back. All the animals noticed that the rabbit was not visible. The tortoise had won the competition and the rabbit had lost. By the time the rabbit opened his eyes it was too late. When the rabbit came back he saw that the tortoise had already arrived. Now the rabbit had realized his mistake and that laziness is a great enemy. The rabbit started apologizing to all the animals.
