Before giving the speech, I want to wish you all a very Happy Independence Day. As you all would know that we have gathered here on the occasion of Independence Day. This year our country is celebrating 77th anniversary of independence which is a matter of joy for all of us.
Our freedom has been contributed by many great men who have inspired our freedom movement and fought hard to get freedom. Great great men dedicated their lives for the country for freedom. From 1857 to 1947, the great leaders, freedom fighters and brave soldiers of our country have witnessed innumerable rebellions and sacrifices very closely. We should never forget the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, from Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh and Chandrashekhar Azad to millions of people whose names we don’t even know but who fought hard to free India from the British rule.
Independence Day is the celebration of his sacrifice and victory. Independence Day is a celebration to honor those who made this country by erasing themselves. Before ending the speech, let us promise ourselves that we will always protect the country, maintain brotherhood and help everyone.
